MCU: Convince me to keep watching
#1
I pretty much stopped watching the MCU after Endgame. I just couldn't keep up with every single TV show and movie. Are they all still linked together?

ehhhhhhhhhhh kinda. Some shows are directly linked to the movies- (Wandavision-Dr Strange 2); some shows are linked but the movie does a good enough job of not fully needing it (Falcon and Winter Soldier-Thunderbolts/Ms Marvel-The Marvels) some are fantastic stand alones (Loki 1 & 2, Moon Knight, Daredevil BA), and the rest are up to preference.

The movies arn't super linked together anymore because they spread their butter too thin, introducing characters, groups, and post credit characters that were immediatly forgotten (Poor Shang Chi). They were doing too much instead of focusing on the one next big threat, who they then fumbled in his debut and casting.

Too many movies, too many characters, and too many plots to tell a coheseive story from phase 4 and 5. I saw Guardians 3, Spider-Man NWH, DP and Wolverine, Thunderbolts, and Shang Chi are the best of the films.

definitely agree with midnight. theres a lot going on especially with DP being "MCU Jesus" and all of the mutants coming from the Fox era of Marvel. I am excited to see F4 just because now its confirmed they fail to beat Galactus and find their way to our main timeline. I'm partly hoping that they use him to essentially do another Endgame but this time its the whole universe and it ends the MCU or possibly leads to a reboot so we can get some recasts/new stories ( im hoping for the former tbh) I dont really see that since we obviously doomsday and secret wars coming for our current MCU and I doubt they would swap Beyonder for him in secret wars and also have him win. I guess the real question is will everyone be at odds with doom and then Galactus' arrival makes us join sides?
