It seems like with the coming of the switch 2 so too will come the games which will start to cost 100 dollars instead of the accepted 70 at the moment. I personally dont think this is a good thing because as one platform raises their prices, other platforms are sure to follow meaning that not too long from now all games will be costing upwards of 100 dollars, and will continue to rise

When new technology is released it is more expensive and harder to make thus costs more

Everybody soon is going to join in on the price gouging. I really wouldn't mind the 10-20 increase if the games had better quality. Nowadays though indie games that cost $5 are better than most full price Triple A titles.
