You know that feeling when you plan to “just play for a bit” — and suddenly it’s 4 AM?
Right now, Helldivers 2 has me hooked. Every mission just gets crazier and I can’t stop.
Back in the day, it was Skyrim or CoD Zombies that totally made me lose track of time.

What are your current “just one more round” games?
Which games have completely sucked you in — whether it’s story, multiplayer, or grinding?

Personally a heavily modded colony in the game Rimworld. Its a colony management / random story generator in essence. I particularly enjoy how long running colonies can have truly insane events occur.

Recently an event called The Long Night has triggered. Some massive void creature is obscuring the local star, plunging the world into eternal night. The eldritch nature of the creature is also causing more conflict and negative events to occur.

If that wasn't enough, the eternal night is killing any plants which require light to grow as they are starved of vital light. My colony is barely scraping by on established food stockpiles and hastily built hydroponic systems for controlled artificial farming. Truly, the night is dark and full of terrors.
